Classes of Information

A Class of Information is a way of collecting together similar types of information. The Department of Environmental Health has grouped its Classes of Information into broad categories (or functions) which reflect the Department of Environmental Health's outputs. If you are intending to make a request, the following grouping of information should give you an indication of where the information may be found.

1. Inspection reports for schools, food establishments, hotels, etc
2. Complaints & investigative reports of complaints
3. HR files
4. Lab reports – analysis reports of water, food, landfill water samples
5. Solid waste statistics, safety records, vehicles and maintenance records
6. Accounts records
7. Garbage fees
